Where is the Devoq Design headquarters?

At 111, Platinum Plaza, opposite the I.O.C. petrol pump, Bodakdev, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380054. It is the flagship studio and the delivery centre for every engagement we run, including those contracted through our US, Canadian and Australian offices. Bodakdev sits in the western business district of Ahmedabad, which keeps the studio within easy reach of the airport for clients flying in for a workshop or a quarterly review.

What engagement models do you offer enterprise clients?

Three shapes cover most work: a fixed-scope project with defined deliverables and milestones; a dedicated pod retained monthly for continuous product work; and a time-boxed discovery or design sprint used to de-risk a decision before committing to a larger programme. The right one depends on how settled your scope is.

What is a dedicated design pod?

A named team assigned to your product for the duration of the engagement — typically designers, a UX researcher and front-end engineers, with a project manager accountable for delivery. They learn your domain, work in your tools and your board, and stay on the product instead of rotating between accounts.

Can we visit the studio or run workshops on site?

Yes. Clients regularly run discovery sessions, design sprints and design-system workshops at the Ahmedabad studio, and our leads travel to client sites for kickoffs and major reviews. On-site time is arranged as part of the engagement plan.

How do you protect confidential enterprise IP?

We work under client NDAs and the confidentiality terms of the master agreement, and access is scoped to the people on your pod. Where a client requires restricted tooling, controlled repository access or limits on where project material may be stored, those conditions are agreed at contracting and built into how the pod works. We would rather decline a tooling requirement we cannot genuinely honour than accept the control in a contract and quietly work around it in practice.

Do you provide 24/7 coverage?

Project management coverage runs 24/7 from the Ahmedabad HQ, so clients in the Americas, EMEA and APAC have an accountable contact during their own business hours. Design and engineering work to planned schedules aligned to each client’s timezone rather than running continuously.

How large is the team and what disciplines are in house?

34 people covering UX research, interface design, design systems and front-end engineering, plus project management and QA. Everything is delivered in house — we do not subcontract client work to third parties.

Do you work with Indian companies as well as international ones?

Yes. The HQ serves domestic clients directly alongside the international engagements contracted through our other offices. For Indian clients, proximity means on-site workshops and in-person reviews are straightforward rather than exceptional.

Can you take over an existing product mid-flight?

Yes, and it is common. We start with an audit of the current interface, codebase conventions and design assets, then agree what is kept, what is rebuilt and in what order. Taking over a live product is a sequencing problem more than a design one, and it is planned as such. The first release under new ownership is deliberately small, because the quickest way to lose a team’s confidence is to make your debut change the one that breaks their production environment.

How do you scale a pod up or down?

Pod composition is reviewed at agreed intervals and adjusted with notice, so a programme can add engineers for a build-heavy quarter or reduce to a maintenance shape afterwards. Changes are made through the engagement plan rather than by silently rotating people on and off.
